Light Industrial - Cable Assembler

About the Role
Join a dynamic manufacturing team in Orlando, FL as a Cable Harness Assembler. You'll be at the forefront of assembling high-quality cable and harness products used in critical industries, working directly from engineering schematics and wiring diagrams. Responsibilities

- Build and assemble cable harnesses to wiring diagrams and form boards, ensuring adherence to Class 3 IPC standards
- Perform soldering, crimping, contact insertion, and backshell torquing using hand and power tools
- Interpret and execute written mechanical engineering instructions and schematic drawings
- Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed assemblies
- Execute quality inspections to ensure compliance with strict quality specifications
- Disassemble, modify, and rework experimental or prototype assemblies as required
- Collaborate with team members to meet and exceed production goals

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 3 years manufacturing assembly experience (defense sector experience highly valued)
- WHMA-A-620 training completion or valid WHMA-A-620 Certification with proven Class 3 workmanship
- J-STD-001 Certification
- Strong skills in soldering, crimping, and reading wiring diagrams
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Preferred Skills

- IPC/WHMA-A-620E-S space addendum expertise
- IPC 620 Defect Recognition proficiency
- Experience with continuous improvement processes
